Anyone ever revisit phase one??

Does anyone ever revisit phase one for any reason?? Maybe not even for a full two weeks but I am way overdoing it on grain and I swear starting to crave it - what does it mean to crave whole grain?
I WANT WW PASTA!! I want WW bread.... oooooooooooooooooh, bread!!!! FIBER ONE cereal... if it's got grain - give it to me!!
I had 5 FULL grain servings the other day - scarfing down a WW bread PBJ (sugar free jam) at 10:30pm in the kitchen like it was my last meal!!!

In 2.5 years I have never, ever gone back to phase 1 even for a day. I have no desire to, never would. In fact, if I had it to do over again, I don't think even would have done phase 1 in the first place. And if for some reason I was ever off South Beach for a very extended period of time (I'm not talking about a week here or there for vacation either - I'm talking like way off for a LONG time) I still would not even consider phase 1 and would go straight to phase 2.
For me, going back to phase 1 would make me feel too restricted and make me want "bad" things even more. I would miss the whole grains and fruits so much that it would backfire and would binge. I never had the types of "cravings" phase 1 is supposed to cure. Their definition of craving is being hungry due to a drop in blood sugar. Its not about DESIRING a certain food at a certain moment. That is mental - phase 1 does nothing for that. That just takes making a conscious decision to make the right choices.
Now - personally, I don't see too much of an issue with having extra grain servings. I had my full 3 servings of each every day in phase 2. Then when I hit my original goal weight (135lbs) I started eating Phase 3 and ate more than 3 servings - usually 4, sometimes 5. At that point I still continued to lose another 17lbs. The whole while eating as many grains as I pleased. And I still eat as many grains as I would like (as I said - no less than 4 per day, often 5) and have easily maintained.
Of course this would not be the official word - and the calorie natzi's would jump on it too. But I just refuse to view whole grains as "bad" or evil. I didn't gain weight from eating brown rice or whole wheat pasta. I gained if from McDonalds, donuts and Cheetos type crap. So as long as I don't go back down that route - I'm not concerned.

Even with my cheats - my extra grains every day, my extra avocado and nuts (warding off yet another migrain - successfully thought!!) and my cookie here, dough there, and GASP - white noodle manicotti!!!
I still am down 3.5 lbs in the last 3 weeks. Official weigh in today at Abi's OT and it was a solid 212!!

MichaelAnn,
No one is against eating extra grains or fruit if you're still losing weight in phase 2
Aw, hell, I knew someone was going to tell me I had to stop treating!! lol
I will. I have 5 weeks until we leave for our cruise and I'd love to lose about 6-7 more lbs - especially for the sake of wearing this dress: (sorry it's a bit blurry) http://s193.photobucket.com/albums/z204/abismom04/?action=view¤t=Jennie-wearinggoldformal.jpg
. So, okay, here it is - no more treats!! Poor Deklan he'll be so disappointed he can't force feed me goldfish!! lol

Oh - I know, I guess I just meant that many people here feel they have to be very strict with the guidelines (counting servings, measuring fats, cutting back on cheese/nuts, etc.) in order to maintain or keep the scale moving. But not everyone HAS to be that way for it to work. For some, being more lenient with those servings does not affect their weight loss. I feel it depends on the individual and what their personal limits are, rather than what some chart says.
I also agree about the treating. I was never a "bite here and there" kind of person. I did treat in phase 2, but it was very planned, controlled and limited (one cheat meal every 3 weeks) In between then, I never even had "bites" of illegal stuff. So even though I may have not limited the "legal" foods strictly - I was VERY strict about the illegal foods!
