Hi Ladies,
I've been lurking for a little while and just wanted to introduce myself. (I normally frequent another iVillage board and found this one while browsing the index.)
I lost 21lbs on the SBD several years ago and was really really happy on the program. However, I've been dealing with some tough personal issues over the past two years, and of course I fell of the wagon and went back to stress and comfort eating. I've put back all 21lbs (plus some). So now I'm looking to start over and get serious again.
I'm jumping straight into P2 since I don't really crave sweets or potatoes or white bread or any of that stuff that P1 is focused on eliminating. I generally eat pretty healthy, my biggest weakness is portion control. The other day I ate an entire fillet of almond-crusted tilapia in one sitting (and I'm talking a giant fillet, big enough to feed an entire family!) with rice and beans. And my second-biggest weakness is meal planning. When I plan, I do great. But work and life have both been crazy, and when I don't plan is when I tend to over-eat.
Anyway, I look forward to getting to know all of you. *wave*
