Steel cut oats - who knew?

Wow. So good.


I did 1/3 + 2tsp of oats and 1.75 cups milk and cooked it on the stove per the directions...


Then sweetened it just a touch with some splenda and WOW I ate the entire pot of it!!! It was so incredibly good!!!


Who else eats this?

Oh I love them too! I put a little cinnamon in mine or a tsp of peanut butter sometimes. SO GOOD!

You can probably find cheaper brands than the ones in the can if you're concerned about the cost.

I've been SBDing it for 2 years but have been eating Irish Oats for at least 6, maybe longer than 7 because I seem to recall taking it to work with me before ds was born and he is almost 8.

I buy it from the bulk bins at the grocery store (Whole Foods or our locally-owned Whole Foods type stores).
