Starch question

I bought the 30 minute cook book. I made the buttermilk waffles. I had two and was quite satisfied. However, it does not say how many waffles I should have. It does not have a suggested serving size. I count that as two starches for me. Is this correct?

I just returned this book to the library, and I don't have that recipe as a point of reference, so I'm sorry; I can't help.
I just dug out my book.
Here's the recipe if anyone is intereested:
Buttermilk Waffles with Jam
4 (1 waffle)
Description
A warm waffle topped with your favorite jam makes a hearty and special breakfast anytime. Once prepared, these can be wrapped individually and frozen for up to 3 weeks. Reheat in the toaster, using low heat, until warmed through.
You were correct in counting it as 2 servings (1 waffle per serving).
Hi,
If you're getting 4 waffles out of the batter and you are eating 2 of the waffles then your two waffles would be counted as 2 starch/grain servings.
