DYK you are still doing better than me at $59

DYK I just dropped $80 for my cut?

DYK it is hard to complain when everyone in the place is cooing over how good your hair looks?

DYK they know how to work it?

DYK it was 70 and sunny in Santa Cruz

DYK I came back anyway, my fear of rush hour (or 3 hours, as it would have been) overwhelming my desire for the beach

DYK I am glad I came back because the dog was so happy to see me and the weather is almost as good here

DYK I am going to take him to park in a few minutes

DYK I think I'll try out a place I have not gone before, just for variety

DYK this dog is turning out to be a great exercise program

DYK I am still hyperventilating over the idea of a cute cut and style for $25

DYK San Francisco is crazy expensive (not a bad as NY, but a close second)

DYK If I get out of a salon for less than $200 I consider myself lucky

DYK though I think most of that goes towards maintaining my "natural" blonde

DYK whatever it costs, it is better than letting anyone see my untouched hair color (a dull shade of, well, mouse)

DYK I hear you on the mouse?

DYK luckily I have highlights in now that grow out very well, so I only have to get color every three visits.

DYK but I'm at close to $200 on those visits, with tip.

DYK my husband would die if it cost 200.

DYK he would be dead!

DYK I think 25 is cheap, it is a great cut.

DYK its approx 70 when I get cut and color

DYK it really is a great salon -- the best one in town, the only one in town that looks like a big city salon.

DYK I'll tell Kerri, she's worth more!

DYK I probably wouldn't tell her TOO Much!

DYK John knows exactly what my hair costs because he gets his done there too

DYK he doesn't need color though

DYK he has much better hair than me

DYK it would annoy me if I didn't love his hair so much!

DYK the dog and I had a great time in the park

DYK I found an incredible off leash trail less than a mile from my house

DYK I can't believe I did not know about it

DYK redwood trees and great views down the canyon and of sunset over the bay

DYK it reminds me why I live in this crazy city where it costs a small fortune to get my hair cut, or buy a house, or fill the tank, or do anything for that matter

DYK I really need to get out and appreciate it more
