DYK last year my DH decided to just got a good clipper and do his own hair? He also tried to do DS' once, but that didn't turn out so well...
DYK he actually does a great job--buzzes it pretty short (not quite military-short, but short).
DYK it looks SO much better that way now that his hairline is really receding and he's got the start of a little bald spot on top...
DYK it's funny, right after we got married (8+ years ago) he started growing a beard/mustache--actually on our honeymoon--so now he's got more hair on his face than on his head...
DYK I've learned that in order to get DH to help me clean, I have to be REALLY specific...last Saturday before the babysitter came, he had spent a few hours playing his stupid WOW game online, while I cleaned the kitchen, bathrooms, did 2 loads of laudry, fed the kids, etc. So I sent DS downstairs to tell daddy that I needed him to vacuum the basement. And he actually did it (about 2 hours later, but at least it got done!)...
DYK if I don't ask for help with cleaning, I don't get it.
DYK but at least I don't have to ask for help with the kids...he's really good about that!
DYK I would take a light jacket or blazer...but then I'm a real weenie when it comes to the cold (meaning I really live in the wrong part of the country!)

DYK hey ladies! Man, it's only been a few days, but I feel like I haven't talked to you guys in years!
DYK I'm having a GREAT time at home? My nephew is seriously the most adoreable baby in the whole world! I'll post pictures when I get home.
DYK this week I'm staying with the two boys I used to nanny because their parents are out of town?
DYK living like a (wealthy) stay at home mom is pretty nice? LOL. I could get used to this!
DYK we do get off cheap here in the midwest?
DYK I just spent $92 plus tip for cut and great color...and DH will think that's crazy expensive!
DYK but I *refuse* to go gray at 36! (yes, I actually do have quite a bit of gray...must be hereditary).
DYK he says I could be a "silver fox"...I said sure, maybe when I'm 60!

DYK that I'm 100% gray and have been since my late 30's?
DYK I think it would be pretty if I wanted to let it grow out...it's actually white, not lots of varying shades of gray.

DYK it's funny you should mention that.

DYK that one time I did ask how I would let mine grow out (my hair is brown, but not as dark as yours).
DYK that's exactly what they would do...lighten it all over, and maybe put in more highlights, so it wasn't as noticeable.
DYK my SIL let hers grow out about 3 years ago, and it looks horrible.
