DYK especially Thursdays when DD has an early out from school?
DYK I took stuff to the secondhand store this morning before work, and it took them *40 minutes* to go through the 2 bags of stuff?! One bag of clothes and one bag of toys.
DYK good thing I scheduled it at 9:00, so I still had time to make it to work by 10:00.
DYK I really need to switch the nights I work...when I agreed to do Thursday nights, it was with the understanding that I would teach an early class so that once a month I could leave right after that to go to PTO meetings at school (I really wanted to get involved with that)...but most Thursdays I end up getting recruited to teach a later class because someone is sick/on vacation/simply not there, so I have *NEVER* made it to a meeting. And I'm usually not informed that I'll be teaching late til I get there...which REALLY annoys me!
dyk it all went well, lots of talking, questions and she said at first glance she thinks Abigail is highly highly intelligent but is suffering from an anxiety disorder
dyk she would like to do a full medical evaluation since she had tendencies (that she witness, noticed just in the hour we are there) to so many different "disorders (ex: her SPD, ADHD, even some autistic like nuances) and so that means a developmental ped, nuerologist and pohsychiatrist.
dyk we are going back next week - and each week after
dyk and I think the fish oil is really making a difference - I don't know what else to attribute her periods of much more focused attention on
dyk usually you are talking to her or she is talking to you but she is visibly distracted and flitting - whereas in the past few days there have been more moments of clarity
dyk it takes 2 full doses of the sleepy nights kids to help her get settled nad I fear Sean and I may have to alternate a small group for a few weeks so we can get Abigail in bed at 6:30 to get her alseep by 8:30
dyk otherwise, we'll be out until 8:30 and she's not asleep until 10:30 and then the next morning is bad
dyk although this morning she was a mess until they pulled out of the driveway and she was asleep by 8:30 -
dyk she did wake up and get in bed with us at some point

DYK how lucky you are?!
DYK I don't think I've been able to stay in bed past 8:30 in almost 7 years?
DYK but somehow DH is able to sleep in til 9:00 on weekends...WTF?!
DYK my kids got DH to say that *maybe* they could stay up late on Friday..."til they are tired", which DS has translated to mean "midnight"
dyk Sean got up and took the kids to school
dyk that is the Thursday routine
dyk every thursday I sleep late
dyk every thursday he acts like I am sick
dyk um, no, maybe I am tired!!!
DYK I really hate Thursdays?

DYK - Good news!
DYK - you might like the dev. pedi better than the guy you just saw!
DYK - A completely paid full medical evaluation, and possibly a team approach to working with Abi.
DYK - can you have added in a complete eye exam and hearing exam too, not just read the chart type things?
