DYK I know it's a bit early for CENTRAL time - but on the East coast it is MARCH FIRST!!

DYK I really really wanted to start the DYK

DYK Steph is SO lucky (Black Irish in you occasionally by any chance???) that the title doesn't say (& Steph has no wet spots)

DYK ROFLMAO

DYK I almost hate to ask this, but does she have a TV in her room?

DYK does she watch TV til she falls asleep?

DYK it sounds like you are doing a great job of setting a bedtime routine, but if she's watching TV to go to sleep, maybe she's trying to stay awake to watch it?

dyk she does -

dyk it's fairly new - as in in the last 2 months b/c the screaming, crying, wailing, self mutilating, kicking out window fits were getting to be too much to handle at bedtime

dyk so a couple nights in a row she fell asleep on the couch watching a movie

dyk she does need extra time to settle in -

dyk I'm scared of how she'll behave if we take the movies away altogether, but maybe we get her in bed at 7 and then she gets one hour of movie? Or if she gets up at ALL other than to go peepee the movie is turned off immediately?

DYK I'm going to have to work with DS on tying his shoes?

DYK, it's a requirement for his kindergarten?

DYK, I SO wasn't focusing on it?

DYK, he can read small words and knows all the sounds each letter makes?

DYK, THAT's what we work on?

DYK, we read every night?

DYK, he loves it?

DYK, he has a LOT of books memorized word for word?

DYK, now I'm worried about how to teach him to tie his shoes?

DYK he gets ready on his own each morning - - shirt, pants, socks, shoes?

dyk now they are sitting with me and we were having an nice little snack of cheese and crackers but they crunched all the crackers in their hands and started throwing them

dyk Sean of course cannot come home early at all and was a bit blunt about it.

dyk whatever.

DYK, that's a great idea!

DYK, I'm having the same problems as Jennie getting DS to settle down for bed?

DYK, we have a routine which worked great until last month or so?

DYK, he is just NOT interested?

DYK, he has a three strike system - - 1. he loses his stuffed animal, 2. he loses his night light...3. we close the door.
