Whistle a happy tune QOTW

Anna (as in 'and the King') sang

Whenever I feel afraid
I hold my head erect
And whistle a happy tune
So no one will suspect
I'm afraid

What do you do to get through your fears?

I usually throw on one of my Christian CD's and crank it up.

When it comes to heights (my big fear), I tend to avoid them if at all possible.

I either ignore it and bury it, or I work on it one baby step at a time when forced to, and sometimes I've been know to take a deep breath and confront my fear head on.

I hate it when I decide to do the latter, but at least after that it's out of the way.

I actually do sing that song from time to time.

I confront them (or try to) and work through them (sometimes with a lot of tears and yelling! LOL)...

Mostly I think I try to avoid the things I am afraid of.

I have a little mantra that I say. It's part of my OCD but to me it works lol.
