DYK I definitely don't think you should go back to phase one. Instead, you could just get all your grain servings from the least processed foods, such as sweet potatoes or brown rice, instead of bread and crackers.
DYK what helped me was a mindset change. I told myself I HAD to go 30 days without any sugar. It was so, so, SO hard at first. I got migraines and I just felt bad. But then I started feeling better and much more in control. I didn't realize how out of control I was before that. I'm just starting my fourth week and I feel a lot better. Anyways, the point of this was to say that I mentally told myself that I had to make this one change for 30 days. Maybe you could pick the one thing that you're struggling with and tell yourself that you'll change whatever it is for a set amount of time.
