DYK I just gave away a huge bag of size 1 jeans (all good stores) - I wish I knew Meg could use them, I would have sent them to you?
DYK Amanda is creeping into a 3? She likes to wear her jeans snug but not tight. She always layers tops - a tank top with something over (you know the look, longer on the bottom and/or lace peeking out at the top). The problem with that is it makes her boobs look pretty big and sometimes the tanks are a bit lower cut than I like. I have to find a tactful way for her to buy larger tanks or tighten up the straps maybe so it sits higher on her chest.
DYK she loves those stores too? She also like American Eagle and A&F? IMO American Eagle has the best stuff and best value than all those other tween/teen stores.
DYK - No kidding - Megan wears a bra, then a cami with a bra shelf, then at least one or two tank tops over that.
DYK - but some of that will change when school starts as she cannot wear any tops that are less than two fingers width wide for straps and shorts need to be as long as her fingers when her hands are held loosely by her sides.
DYK - When I do back to school shopping with Megan, I do it in stages.
DYK - Stuff she needs now (longer shorts, a few new shirts, bras, underwear and sneakers) and then in October/November a few more things and then more at Christmas.
DYK - she's going to need new soccer cleats too - this I knew about, but at least hers won't be $90 or more.

DYK, LOL we have the same dress code requirements? She will still wear all those layers with a short-sleeved, front-button (unbuttoned) shirt over top?
DYK I am putting a stop on buying anymore tops - she has TONS - can barely get her drawers shut? She'll still try to pressure me for new ones though....
DYK I think I need to get Amanda cleats for field hockey? You would know, apparantly they (soccer cleats) are different than softball cleats?
dyk thanks for the cleats lesson - that makes sense?
dyk I assume they wear soccer cleats for field hockey only because they don't allow softball cleats and I can't imagine there is another cleat type? Do you agree?
dyk my siblings and I all played - my brother has been playing for 20 years - right on through high school, college, and is on a men's league in Houston - we still go to his tournaments
DYK Pete gets along great with my family and would hang out with them without me.
DYK but I do NOT like hanging out with his mom without him. But when I go home next week, his aunt (his mom's sister) is getting married. I really like his aunt, so I'm going to the wedding.
DYK it should be fine. When my mom heard I was going alone, she suggested that I take my dad with me (which was actually the first thing that crossed my mind) but I don't think I will. Pete's brothers and their girlfriends should be there, so I can hang with them.

DYK - Congratulations on the promotion
DYK - Bummer on the non-exempt to exempt if the new salary does not match up to the non-exempt OT hours you've been getting.
DYK - OMG on the layering
