DYK I think this is really going to help my eating?

dyk I have found running to help with my eating, especially in the past few days?

dyk on the days I run, I don't want to eat crap because I feel so good...on the days I don't run, I don't want to eat crap because I know I'll wake up with that "heavy" feeling and have a super hard time making it through my whole run.

dyk, this is what makes me think I can be a runner?

dyk, the LEAST amount of time I've ever spent on the treadmill has been 30 minutes? Generally I'm on there for 75 minutes...I "cheat" and restart after 15 minutes so that I can be on for over an hour.

dyk, I have good stamina, but not good speed?

Past Races:
-Boston Run to Remember Half Marathon, 5/29/11 (2:35:11, no training!)

-BAA 10k, 6/26/11 (1:04:52, wanted to be under an hour...)

dyk, please remember I'm not a baker (or vegan!) when I ask my questions :-) only TRYING to be a baker

dyk, I thought applesauce wasn't legal, so is yours a personal choice or is it homemade and therefore legal? What about ground flax, I've been using that instead of oil when I bake - do you not use it because it's not vegan (is it, I have no idea...but I'd think it was....), or is it because it's calorie dense (if I remember correctly)?

dyk my dog is a huge motivator for me too!

dyk it was an exciting weekend for Barlow pup

dyk yesterday my friend visiting from Chicago and I took him on a walk along the San Francisco Bay to the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge

dyk there was a 3 Day Walk for Breast Cancer camping out in the park there (hundreds of hot pink tents!), which added to the festive mood

dyk and Barlow SWAM for the first time! He usually just runs in and out of the water.

dyk this morning after I dropped my friend off at the airport Barlow and I went to a different dog friendly

dyk I WISH heavy exercise helped my eating!

dyk I ate way too much after my walk with Bar today

dyk all healthy stuff, but still too much.

dyk that's probably not helping with my lack of motivation for getting off the couch and into a grocery store.

DYK wow, I can't imagine spending 75 minutes on the treadmill! I just get so bored. The nice thing about following a program is that I know I have to stay on there a certain amount of time.

DYK I bet you could be a runner! Seriously, if I can do it, then anyone can! Stamina is more important than speed.

DYK I'm not fast at all. In fact, I'm pretty slow. But since this is my first 5K, I'm just running to finish it and not for speed.

DYK if it all goes well, I'll enter another one and try to improve my time.
