DYK I didn't run for the full 40 minutes. I ran for 10, walked for 2, ran for 10, walked for 2, ran for 10, then did a 6 minute cool down.

DYK on SB applesauce isn't legal. But I make a personal choice to use because it's SO much healthier than oil. Also, the reason it's not allowed is because of the effect it could have on your blood sugar. But when I use it in baked goods, I'm not really eating that much applesauce per serving, so I don't think it's a big deal.


DYK yes, flax seeds are vegan.

DYK I really like my treadmill -- though lately I haven't been as good


DYK I usually will do 60 - 70 minutes -- when I'm prepping for vacation where I know we will do a lot of walking, I usually do 90 minutes


DYK I do walk in front of the tv though, so that makes the time go quickly

dyk, podcasts? There's a morning talk show in Philly that I miss like CRAZY (all the radio stations here suck) and I'm about 3 weeks behind in podcasts - and that's with skipping about 2 weeks of July.

dyk, since I'm not very fast (yet) I also read on the treadmill? When I actually make it to the gym, it usually takes me about 2 trips to finish an "average" size "fun" book - about 200-250 pages.

dyk, I think I'm going to try the couch 2 5K program at the gym and stick to hour+ walks at home? I just got back from one around my neighborhood and I "forgot" that I live on a BIG hill...my bum hurts :-).

-Corporate Run, 3.5 miles 6/2/11 (36:38, 4 days after running the half!)

dyk, I wish the treadmills at my gym had t.v.'s, it would make going a little better?
