dyk, I agree - everyone is making me super jealous

dyk, I WANT SNOW!!!!!!!!!!

dyk, I love snow - I'd like to kick of November with a few good inches of snow, but no one else I know even remotely likes the stuff

dyk Abi and Dek went down with no trouble for naptime - very close to normal afternoon nap time -

dyk it sucked though b/c in Houston we drove RIGHT BY the children's museum and it would only have been $10 for all 3 of us to get in

dyk and then almost home, Abigail asked to go to that place, with all the colors, and the rooms... filled with toys... you know, where we walked around alot?

dyk that would be the Children's Museum

dyk but I knew a nap was time better spent - plus, overload as I mentioned

It's not enough to prepare my child for the world...
I'm preparing the world for my child.

dyk, I really don't see much difference from person to person

dyk, I don't get how they can have 17 kids who are almost the same...there are little differences, but they are all really alike.

dyk, and I also don't get how they can have 17 kids and have such a quiet house. I don't care how big the house is - if you have 17 kids they should make noise and ECHO. And their house is really clean...like REALLY clean. You'd expect to see some sort of mess SOMEWHERE.

dyk, and the bedrooms. Does the 17 year old really need to have the same bedroom (& bedtime!) as the 2 year old? When I saw them all go to bed at the same time I was a little confused...I'm pretty sure the older kids can stay up later than the younger kids.

dyk, if I were to build a custom house for my family with 17 kids, I'd make damn sure there were more than 3 bedrooms. Especially if I planned to continue having kids.

dyk, as the resident tax person - DO EXACTLY as Sheila said!

dyk, if the stuff is needed for her medical needs and is either not covered by your insurance and/or exceeds a certain percentage of your household income (I *think* 7.5%) it IS deductible

dyk, of course there are restrictions, guidelines, etc. that you will need to look into specifically, but I bet that at least some of the cost will be deductible

dyk, and as far as taking a loan against your 401(k) - read ALL of the fine print first and foremost! You don't want to get stuck paying huge fees and penalties if there's a way around it.

DYK that's how it is here; if the school system doesn't have enough providers for a certain service, then they outsource it and pay for it.

DYK there's even some preschools around specifically for kids with more needs, so they don't have to be pulled out of the classroom.

DYK Eric goes to a therapy center that provides PT, OT, Speech, behavioral services, etc.

DYK one other question about Abi...wasn't she in an OT program that she was eligible to continue until she was 18, if needed?

dyk, the only thing I want for dinner is Domino's Pizza and Cheesey Bread?

dyk, I've wanted this for WEEKS now, but I'm really trying to resist. Starting next week I'll be eating dinner at work and SB would not be a term I'd use to describe 99% of what we get.

dyk, I figure, November-January will be filled with enough bad food, I can be good until then.

dyk, so I'm being bad in my own little way - I'm not going to eat a single vegetable with dinner tonight. I already got my 4 1/2 cups in (more actually) and have only had 1 grain so I'm not even being that bad....
