dyk I sooo know what yo mean about the kitchen floor

dyk there are times when I wonder why I even bother trying to keep it swept, let alone washed

dyk after church Mark and I went to Meijer and Sam's Club

dyk he took care of everything wer bought while I stayed out of his way by dealing with laundry

dyk he even got all the beef sealed up in the vacuum bags

dyk then I went to Kroger for some things that we still needed

dyk that reminds me, I need to check out when a sale there ends

dyk time to do some multi-window work here

DYK I made cornbread from scratch for the first time this year? I had only ever used the Jiffy boxes before.

DYK the first one I made was from Veganomicon and it was so, SO good! The second one was pumpkin cornbread from a blog, and it was pretty good too, but I prefer the plain cornbread.

dyk I had stats in college too

dyk the flat black finish on my calculator was the perfect writing surface for pencil lead

dyk it was good to have formulas handy if needed

dyk the safety net was good to have, but not totally necessary

dyk the calucator should made getting the answers easier than pencil & paper

DYK I have a recipe for an Italian tofu marinade, which I posted before, but here it is again. All I did was cut the pint of tomatoes in half and add it to the marinade with the tofu and then baked them together.

Ingredients
1/2 cup white wine
2 tablespoons olive oil (Extra Virgin if you have it)
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons Braggs liquid aminos or tamari (soy sauce)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
A big pinch dried basil
A big pinch of marjoram (I didn't have this, so I left it out)
A big pinch of thyme
1 lb firm tofu, drained and pressed (don't have to press if you don't want to). Cut widthwise into 8 pieces. (sometimes I also cut those in half to make smaller squares).

Directions
Combine the Wine, Oil, Vinegar, Bragg's or Tamari, Garlic, Basil, Dill, And Oregano in a shallow bowl. Whisk lightly to combine, and place tofu squares into marinade. Swish to cover, then cover the bowl and leave alone for 30 minutes. Flip and leave alone for another 30 minutes.

To bake, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place tofu on baking sheet or in a 9x13 glass dish and bake for 20 minutes. Flip and bake for another 10 minutes. You can broil for an extra 3 minutes to make it extra chewy.
Can also grill on a cast iron grill pan (but I've always baked it). Cook on high for 3 minutes then then turn them 90 degrees to get the nice grill marks. Cook for 2 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2 minutes.

dyk despite all those years in LA, i was never really Dodgers fan

dyk i keep trying to get into baseball, but aside from my one or two Giants games a year, I just can't seem to work up the enthusiasm for it that i have for football.
