DYK you are so, SO lucky to have a husband who stands up for you. I know that this whole situation sucks for you, but just how much worse it could be.

DYK I know you know this, but just wanted to acknowledge it also. :-)

DYK your SIL sounds charming- yuck

DYK I can't believe she would treat you like that?

DYK She hasn't ever even given you the chance to give her a real reason to hate you? ;-)

DYK I'm so sorry....

DYK ah yes, you can dream. ;)

DYK that's great that your MIL doesn't want her around too. It's unfortunate that your SIL has something against you (for no reason) because I just can't imagine you being mean or hurtful to anyone. But in the end, she's going to be the one exerting all this energy harboring bad feelings and trying to sneak the ex into things. Meanwhile, you are better than that and can just go on with your life.

DYK I think that whole situation would bother me, too.

dyk oh definitely!

dyk I had always *hoped* he would stand up for me in sticky situations with his family, but I never really knew for sure how it would go down considering how tight-knit they all are.

dyk I was pleasantly surprised when he actually had a big talk with his parents right before our wedding and told them to basically get over the fact that I didn't have Aaron's sister-in-law as a bridesmaid of mine.

dyk they said it was a slap in the face to her because she was the maid-of-honor in Aaron's first wedding.

dyk I knew it was going ruffle some feathers, but I stood my ground.

dyk lol...that's what my bff always says..."maybe if you act like a b!tch every time she does, you won't have to keep guessing why she's so rude to you?"

dyk I had a feeling it wasn't just me, but I always like to hear other people's thoughts on these things.

dyk trust me when I say that trying to make her feel comfortable will go a long way?

dyk it's tough being the person coming into a family that's been formed for quite some time?

dyk she'll appreciate you for doing that?

DYK I hate wedding drama! Just one of the many reasons we got married in Hawaii. Everyone seems entitled to tell you how they want it done.

DYK good for you for standing your ground!

DYK and why would you want her in your wedding if you weren't even close? That just makes no sense.
