DYK ok now I am out *for reals*!
dyk thanks for the pep talks, Lindsy and Destiny
dyk you're both right about so many pieces of the puzzle
dyk starting fresh on Monday does sound like a good idea
dyk and by then AF should be on the way out so that will be an added help
dyk I should be able to get some veggies set over the weekend so that I'm armed on that front
dyk that's always been a struggle for me -- getting enough veggies
dyk and bread because it's so quick and easy -- getting too much
dyk but Lindsy I'm so with you on the forcing it and doing worse
dyk if an elephant is eaten one bite at a time, why do I try to fix all the pieces at once
dyk and since it takes 21 - 30 days to form a habit, I need to form a bunch of habits one at a time
dyk and the first one that I need to tackle is the exercise issue
dyk because once I get that one moving, I'll want to maintain the good feeling I get and that will help in all the food choices and portions
dyk thanks agian, ladies, for helpng me to keep my eye on the prize
dyk here's a kitty tale for you
dyk this morning Mark asked me what time I put something in his dresser last night
dyk I told him I hadn't put anything in it, I had just closed the doors
dyk it's an armoire-type with double doors on top
dyk he proceeded to request that the next time I do that I make sure the cat is out first
dyk it seems Calvin (aka psycho cat) had decided sox and under things were good bedding at some point last evening
dyk Mark heard scratching and thought the cat was at the bedroom door
dyk it was finally determined that the crazy critter was in Mark's dresser
dyk I got to add straightening up the lower shelf to my list of quick tasks this morning before going to work
dyk stupid cat

dyk I know I've posted about our office having moved last weekend
dyk and how crazy it's been this week
dyk well today I realized that while there are lots of not-so-good outcomes from the whole affair, I'm actually experiencing a positive
dyk I get to see people on a regular basis now
dyk at our last building I was alone on the first floor of the building -- reception area/lobby inside main entrance, all employees on second floor
dyk now everyone is on one floor, and they have to pass the reception desk to get in and out of the suite
dyk and the overall space is smaller making for smaller work areas so there seems to be a lot of walking around
dyk although that could just be normal and I'd have no way of knowing since I wasn't where it occurred
dyk it should be interesting on Dec 5th when both of us receptionists are there together for the first time
dyk our old space was square and wide
dyk this new one is long and narrow
dyk and we've lost more than half of our storage space
dyk it's a good thing that the time we're both there together is minimal, or things could be very interesting
dyk it's also a good thing we get along, or at least I have no problems with her
dyk I can't imagine sharing that tight of space with a person I didn't care much for
dyk well I need to go talk to Anthony about when we should be expecting Kimmi to get here
dyk she's usually back from class on Wednesday nights long before now
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
dyk so that means you'll be able to do a bit of visiting with your co-workers throughout the day?
dyk that always makes the time fly by!
dyk
dyk it sure does make the time fly
dyk I couldn't believe how fast these 3 days went
dyk plus I had people give me projects to do, one of which lasted all day since it was posting email reservations to a spreadsheet as they came in
dyk I'm sure it'll settle down in the next week or 2, but it sure is nice to feel like a part of things
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
dyk for some reason, it's weirding me out that tomorrow is Thanksgiving?
dyk I just can't believe how fast this year has flown by?
dyk we just purchased our tickets for New Year's Eve and that threw me for a loop?
dyk it seems like I *just* recovered from my hangover from last New Year's, LOL?
dyk and each year goes faster than the one before
dyk fortunately I don't remember the last time I had a hangover
dyk actually yes I do
dyk it was earlier this year when I had 2 Long Island Iced Teas in the course of 90 minutes on an empty stomach
dyk I don't know how long before that it had been
