DYK she know cause she's "a lady in the street but a freak in the bed!"
DYK don't you already run pretty long distances?
DYK I bet you could easily do an 8K!
DYK I thought it was weird too that running doesn't bother it. But it's not the main part of my knee that hurts - it's the muscle above it. So it hurts when I bend my knee all the way, which stretches that muscle.
DYK I've never pulled anything in my knee before, so I'm not sure how to make it heal the quickest. I've just been careful during yoga to not do certain moves that hurt.
dyk I usually do 5-6 miles.
dyk how far exactly is an 8k?
dyk look at me being lazy...I'm sure I could find this *very* easily through a search, lol.
dyk I bet I could do it, I just have this fear of failing.
DYK I think it's only about 5 miles. You could (and do) easily run that!
DYK I totally understand the fear of failure though. I almost didn't go to college or law school because my fear of failing was so strong.
dyk and look at you now!!!
dyk you're almost done!!!
dyk I'm pretty sure a 10k is 6.2 miles
dyk so an 8k is less than that, probably about 5 or so
dyk and it seems to me with all the 5k's that have been run, someone posted that 5k is about 3+ miles
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
DYK I just saw a commercial that said eating a vegetarian diet may reduce your risk of cancer. I was so excited!
DYK so I went to the website so I could read more about it. I already knew that from reading the China Study, but some groups are hesitant to advocate a vegetarian diet because they fear it will come off too extreme.
DYK here's the website if anyone is interested: http://www.cancerproject.org/diet_cancer/index.php.
