dyk the kids are in bed wailing and hollering and crying


dyk I wasn't going to put Dek down since he napped but he insisted on going to bed with Abigail who didn't get a nap and is exhausted


dyk and now they're both - well, ok, they just got quiet - who knows


dyk and Sean left immediately after they went down to bed, to go to SEARS and get me double stick tape

DYK I started off at 4.5.

DYK I think it's easier to run for a few minutes, and then walk for a few minutes. As you build up your stamina, you'll be able to run for longer and walk less and less.

DYK I should add that I run pretty slowly.

DYK even now I tend to stay between 4.5 and 5.5, but I'll add in sprints at 6.5.

dyk Joy have you tried the Couch to 5K program?


dyk you would be very surprised at the distance you can run if you start out the right way


dyk I warm up at 3.5 to 4.2 and run at 5 and above on the treadmill

DYK I keep saying I want to do the C25K, but then I get frustrated when I try running for just a little while.


DYK maybe I need to revisit that idea.
