Over The Land Is April

OVER the land is April,
Over my heart a rose;
Over the high, brown mountain
The sound of singing goes.
Say, love, do you hear me,
Hear my sonnets ring?
Over the high, brown mountain,
Love, do you hear me sing?

By highway, love, and byway
The snows succeed the rose.
Over the high, brown mountain
The wind of winter blows.
Say, love, do you hear me,
Hear my sonnets ring?
Over the high, brown mountain
I sound the song of spring,
I throw the flowers of spring.
Do you hear the song of spring?
Hear you the songs of spring?

Robert Louis Stevenson

dyk, I know they have/had a younger version of the Nancy Drew books

dyk, I'm sure they have them for Hardy Boys as well - and I'm sure they'd be good for him, if they are like the Nancy Drew books they are geared for around 8-10 years old

dyk, and even if they don't...I wonder if the ORIGINAL series would be to old for him? I know that the original Nancy Drew books are really tame compared to the newer versions and I'd imagine that Hardy Boys would be the same way

dyk, my cousin had the whole Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys series's and my aunt THREW THEM AWAY

DYK lol, we leave Friday morning and come back Tuesday night. So we'll have 5 dinners and 5 lunches, and a few breakfasts. I'm sure sometimes we'll just grab something quick for breakfast, but there are a few places I want to go to for brunch.

DYK I'm not sure what else we're doing while we there, besides Statue (not statute) of Liberty and central park.

DYK I'd still like to go to broadway, but it's so expensive!

dyk I haven't heard of any of those restaurants; you'll have to review them when you get home?

dyk you can get half price Broadway tickets at the TKTS booth in Times Square?

dyk or you can sign up at some of these sites for discounts:
www.hitshowclub.com
www.playbill.com
www.broadwaybox.com

DYK I always find the waterway cruises, such as Circle Line, or New York Waterway, fun and a good way to see sites and learn history.
