For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone.  The flowers appear on the earth; the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.       Song of Solomon 2:  11,12

DYK- That's what I want to get done by 8:00 PM...

DYK- We'll see how much actually does get done.

DYK - I might be doing some of it between 8 - 9, like finding the suitcase and starting to pack

DYK- But by 9:00 I want to be showered and in the bed with the clean sheets.

"don't cry for me Jennie Madsen....."

don't cry for me Argentina.....

In Bible College I'd sing, "don't cry for me Maranatha...truth is I want to leave you...."

OUtback cares about being gluten free.

And their wait staff took my dairy problems seriously, too.

DYK I like it there.

dyk Sean and I can lift our spending freeze (though he ate out yesterday and I was NOT pleased but at least, without me saying anything except, "You should not have done that while we were on a spending freeze", he apologized for spending the $4 and even went as far to say, and I know you aren't mad about the $4, but that I spent money when we had agreed not to.

dyk well, who is going to stay upset with a nice apology like that????? Not me!!!

dyk HUGE deal b/c in the past he'd be defensive and insist that it was only 4 dollars... which of course, is not the point.

DYK it's still there -- I was asking for tips on a mother's day idea and Destiny came up with a wow one and then my (first boyfriend) Brian came up with a mildly inappropriate one.

dYK it is unbelievable what that man is shouldering right now.

DYK I agree that the apology was huge.
