dyk I have been googling to see what I should really focus on for Kindergarten - apparently, sight words. I have the list from the kindergarten here, so I guess in July, we'll do sightwords in addition to learning to correctly write her full name.
dyk, you just reminded me of something with Abi learning to write her full name
dyk, my sister's full first name is Victoria (going with the Queen theme), but no one calls her that - she has ALWAYS been Vicky
dyk, except when she was in 2nd grade - the teacher absolutely refused to call her anything other than Victoria...and my sister absolutely refused to answer to Victoria

dyk I saw your FB post about this long before this one
dyk is there any way that you can get her to take breaks from working on things so that she gets more used to changing focus throughout things
dyk that's how classrooms are a lot of the time -- short periods of focus, then moving on to something else that's a different focus
dyk just a thought
For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone.
dyk quite the contrary, Jamie
dyk I think you 'd be a great mother because of your sense of humor
dyk it's the only way to stay sane as a parent

dyk I agree with the possible combinations being endlessly bad

dyk we change subjects, from a worksheet, to a project, to a puzzle, to a memory game, and back to a worksheet

dyk the name of a pope in a family of Jewish heritage
dyk that could lead to some very interesting conversations
For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone.
dyk without meaning to we actually covered both of our fathers when we named Anthony
dyk Mark's dad's middle name was Anthony because with the first name of Jack he had to have a name of a saint somewhere in
dyk how did you make the cauliflower fauxtatoes that Abby ate 2 helpings of
dyk Marisa loves mashed potatoes -- we only make real ones, not from a box -- so I don't feel so bad giving them to the kids
dyk I'd love if she'd eat the fauxtatoes, though, but so far no luck with more than what I barely even consider a taster-bite
