dyk I can understand not allowing cars in the street

dyk but what would happen if you had a 2-car garage and 3 or more drivers in the house

DYK We have a HOA here, but really means nothing?

DYK No one enforces anything in it...and I'm kind of wondering if everyone in the neighborhood even signed one?

DYK We had our's amended because it originally said no more than 2 animals per household and we had 3 already when we moved here?

DYK The people across the street seem to collect animals?

DYK It's not like they hoard or anything, but every time there is a new animal in the neighborhood, it seems to belong to them?

dyk I piled everyone in the car last night (dogs included) and we went to Dairy Queen.

dyk tsk, tsk, tsk.

dyk I had a small Girl Scout Thin Mint blizzard (ate half)...omg, pure heaven.

dyk I guess your screwed, lol?

dyk I don't know...I know for a fact that every house on our street has at least a 3-car garage, but still, I'm sure more than a few people have more cars than garage space.

dyk I know our neighbor has a storage unit for a couple of his cars.

dyk it's disclosed in the big book of HOA "rules" when you move in...they just want it to look at nice as possible, not "cluttered" was what someone down the street said.

dyk I actually think there's a time limit on how long they can be parked in the driveway...two or three nights is okay, but it has to go after that.

dyk we have a rule about pets, too?

dyk 2 cats/2 dogs per household.

dyk not that I'm planning on getting anymore pets, but I'd hate to not be able to if I wanted too.

dyk then again, I'd hate it if my neighbor had 8 barking dogs running along the fence every Sunday morning.

dyk our HOA stuff is strictly enforced.

DYK I think they tried to do that here, but it wound up being no more than an agreement that was signed and no one to enforce it?

DYK We were also supposed to have a small lot portion of the neighborhood designated for neighborhood get togethers, etc., but that never happened either?

DYK One of the builders used to live here, but he divorced and moved?

DYK I have no clue who would even think about enforcing our HOA now?

DYK I would love to have the 'no parking on the street' rule?

DYK The people down the street park their 3rd vehicle on the street all the time?

DYK Between that and the kids on the golf carts, you can't even drive down the street?
