dyk that happy new year is of course sung to the tune that the restaurants use when they sing the happy happy birthday.... happy happy birthday to you song....
dyk so Happy New year!
dyk it's 11:00pm here but we celebrate as the ball drops on NYC!
dyk my dad is all in a tizzy over the cold weather and the chance (like um 10%) that we might have some ice b/c my mom is supposed to meet my BIL halfway to hand over my niece who will be with us for a week
dyk and I have to find a sitter for her on Thursday since Sean will be hunting and I have a doc's appt - Dek and Abi will both be at school
dyk oh crap - my sitters will also be at co-op that day! yikes!
dyk I might just take her with me, if I can't find anyone to hang onto her during the day
dyk I am not sure about Monday either - we leave at 3:00 for Abi's art class - then again, with Dek also in tow they may play just fine in the waiting room during Abi's class
dyk I also need to make sure Sean knows that Feb 1 when we are driving back home from Dallas, I want to make sure we hit pearland at 4pm so Abi doesn't miss an art class
DYK Bruce & Maegan fixed this one for us for Christmas morning?
DYK I figure next time we will cut the amount of cheese, but other than that, I think it's diet friendly...and very good?

DYK We are expecting 1 to 2 inches of snow to start sometime around 8am to 9am in the morning?
DYK They have already closed school for tomorrow?
DYK The scary thing is not the snow this time, but the ice that may accumulate from it in the next few days?
DYK I have called our heating and air company and they are supposed to come out in the morning and see what they can do to get our gas logs working in our fireplace?
DYK They never have worked...I think it may just be that the gas is shut off to it or something?
DYK Sure hope we don't lose power out here due to ice?

dyk luckily, our precipitation occurs about 12 hours before temps start to fall
dyk so we should dodge a bullet there
dyk but as the air mass moves through, apparently there is some chance of it being a bit unpredictable?
dyk that sounds exciting
