dyk Its against evolution to let a baby cry...

dyk Back when man was still in caves, and there was a predator outside, the mom didn't let the baby cry or else said predator would know that they were hiding in the cave.

dyk It irks me too...

dyk it's great to read all the baby books but sometimes a mother's intuition is better? You'll be surprised how many things will come naturally to you. I didn't wake my babies up to nurse because I figured they knew better when they were sleepy or hungry!

dyk Emma had a light case of jaunadice and I was supposed to nurse her every three hours. She slept for four hours at a time. I ended up pump exclusively.

dyk My philosophy is to never wake a sleeping baby.

dyk I did learn a lot reading baby books? BUT I also wonder if some baby book authors actually have children? You'll be surprised how much will come naturally to you. I never woke my babies to feed them, I figured they would know better if they were hungry or sleepy.

dyk The good thing about it is that you know now so you can save a little bit each paycheck.

dyk We also picked up one big piece of baby equipment each paycheck. I was very picky on the car seat and didn't feel comfortable putting a $350 car two (two of them) on a registry.

dyk I guess its a good way to get your insured people to slim down = less medical bills

dyk I also got a personal trainer for $129 for 3 session. Since I don't know how to use any of the gym equipment, I figured this would be good.

dyk I can also use the $129 towards future sessions or tell them I am not happy and get my money back.

dyk I didn't like the "What to Expect when you are Expecting" books either...

dyk They sounded too preachy to me.
