DD is MY HERO & UN AMBASSADOR

16yo DD continues to amaze me as she develops in to a young woman. We have another chapter in ongoing STUPID BOY chronicles. Former BF removed from DD's life following an undercover spy operation at the local high school, he violated the teen commandment "Thou shalt not date other girls while my BF." BF remains banished to land of the unpopular and not date worthy this week by DD and NETWORK of friends that assisted in undercover operation.

DD noticed that girl with whom BF violated commandment was being shunned by DD's network and sent to foreign land with BF. Said girl had taken to eating her lunch in the corner by herself, she normally sat at NETWORK's dedicated lunch spot. DD feeling this was cruel and unusual punishment announced she was going to go bring the girl back to the table. NETWORK of friends exclaimed "are you crazy?, how could you after what she did?". My wise intelligent DD answered, she was played just like me and after all she did not have the committment to me. Did I mention DD is a genius? She may be the new UN Ambassador at her high school.

Very cool that your DD stood up against the group pressure to re-include that girl. HS is hard enough without being banished to eating lunch alone!

Yay!

I kind of have mixed feelings on this.

I also had mixed feelings on this as well. DD & girl in question were not close friends, but did eat lunch regularly together and attend youth group at church together. I remain uncertain what aura this particular stupid boy emits that draws girls into his web. This is not his first go round with this group of young ladies, I dare say it will not be his last. Just glad DD has a forgiving heart...she says on her my space site: "I will forgive, never forget or regret and learn something from all my successes and mistakes." Gosh that is brilliant, if I do say so myself (especially since I said it to her in the midst of this drama). ROFL - Happy Parenting
