Algebra help?

I've been helping my dd on occasion with her algebra. It's now to the point that sometimes I need more than her book for it to click for me. Does anyone know if there is an algebra help software or website that you can enter the problem into and it explains how it got the answer? If I can see it once and have it explained to me I can explain it to her. Sometimes the book doesn't have good examples or any at all. Thanks so much!!

Give these a try. Since you want calculators you will need java. Goodluck!

If you're still having a problem, you could hire a tutor. Up until a few years ago I tutored a few students in geometry and algebrae. High school student tutors are really worth the bucks, too.
What's funny is I had to hire a tutor for my own son in algebrae.

Wow, $30/half hour is wayyyy more than charged in my area. 2 years ago I paid a high school kid $10/hr, once a week for several weeks until my son had caught up. If you live in a college town, that might be a place to look also. And yeah, I don't know if someone would tutor every once in awhile or not...
At least your DD is keeping a B+ average, that's great!
Good luck,

I don't think DD "needs" a tutor, but she will definitely benefit from a tutor.
