Figured I'd jump aboard.......

This is my first post on your board. I've been "lurking" for a few months now, mostly to try to tackle mothering my two teens without losing my sanity! I have a ds(almost 16)and a dd(almost 14) and am a sahm. Most of the time things around here have some semblance to normalcy...whatever that is!...but there are times when I sincerely think that I was a better mom to toddlers than I am to my teens....there are so many challenges aren't there? But what I wanted to say in this post is that I've gotten help from you all in the last few months and I wanted to "delurk" and say thank you. I'll be jumping in, just wanted to introduce myself. From, Clairey in Jersey

Welcome to "de-lurking"!
when you bring those little bundl home all you wory about is if you are gonna be good at teaching them things and making sure you hear them at night. i have 5 kids (i know i am crazy) my step son his 20 but i have raised him sence he was 5. i had my oldset daughter at 18 she will be 19 in 2 weeks, then there is my abby who is 12 and in middel school(god help me) and then the big surprise twins who just turned 7 yesterday.it is so much eair when they are little, then they learn to speak and think for them selfs and then the battle beggins. but with such a wide rang of kids i have learned thru all the battles and i hate yous, they do somewere listen to you, they will drive you crazy and make mistakes but in the end they turn out to be good adults. teenagesr are in a world of there own and they will tire you out and make you crazy but i believe that at least for the most part the people on here are good parents

I've always said that having babies and toddlers was physically exhausting, but having teens is mentally exhausting. But now that my kids are getting a more active social life--marching band, hanging out with friends more, etc., I'm finding the teen years both mentally AND physically exhausting! I spent Wednesday night (Halloween) driving each of them back and forth to separate Halloween parties, last night I was out late picking
Hi and Welcome!
Just wanted to "pop in" to say welcome to the board! This board has, more than once, saved me from doing anything that would make the paper the next day!
