and say a prayer (for those who are religious) or keep in one's thoughts (for those of us who are not) for the family of Mrs. Bhutto and for the people of her country.

Yes, it is..

But today my thoughts are with her daughters. They showed video of her with her husband and her two lovely daughters.

Indeed, she was also a mother and a wife and a family member.

Yea, I agree.

We can only hope that the death of Mrs. Bhutto and her supporters will led to profound changes in her country. It might trigger a backlash against the fundamentalists. We can only hope.

I wondered when she returned (what, a couple of months ago?) why she'd risk it with the craziness in that country. I just heard on the news that she'd made several requests for increased security, but each was denied. It is a sad story.
