My 13 y.o. DS just complained about me. Apparently, I'm annoying because I laugh too much. Huh?? Would he rather I be crying?? It only made me laugh harder!

Has anyone else's kids picked weird things like that to complain about?! Sheesh!

Lol, when they are the dreaded 13 you could be Mother Teresa and they would complain that you are "too kind".

I'd guess if you picked any characteristic I have, at some point in the past 10 years or so it has been annoying to one or the other of my kids! LOL

That's a good one--you laugh too much!

My DSs get mad at me when I do things like honk the horn at people who pass me only to slam on their brakes at the red light, or who let their cars drift into my lane. Isn't that what a horn is for? When DS played soccer I used to carry a red & yellow card in the car and flash it at drivers who got too aggressive--that always got a pretty loud MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM, too. I've learned to be more careful here in VA where a driver is more likely to have a gun on him.

You laugh too much? Shame on you, lol..

About the only thing any of my kids ever commented on...I'm in menopause...get frequent hot flashes. Over the summer I carried a little portable fan from the Dollar Store. I was always whipping it out without even thinking, just needed some relief. Well, one day I pulled it out while in the mall with my girls and their friends. Oldest DD, while laughing, said OMG, and walked several feet in front of me. Hmph.

Kelsie says I am too annoying. Pretty general I know, but that's what she told me when I asked her about this thread. Here's one of the things she finds annoying. When she says a guy is really "hot" I say things like "Well then he should take that sweatshirt off" or "Why doesn't he turn on the air conditioner?" or some silly thing like that. It makes her sooooo mad! "You're so annoying MOM!" lol

Oh yea, that too...I chat people up too much. Jeesh...they can spend hours, literally, on the phone and I can't pass the time of day with a salesclerk? LOL.
