My darling son did not get up for school

This is an ongoing problem with him and the reason that he did not get to graduate with his class back in June. He has a light schedule with late entry and still did not get there today. I spent years dragging his butt out of bed and getting him to school. By the time he was a Junior, I said *enough!*. I would give him 2 wake up calls and that was it. If he didn't get up it became his problem. And I wouldn't write an excuse either. He's had to endure the detentions etc. due to tardiness. This year, since it's what I call Super Senior Overtime, I don't wake him at all. He's 18. That would be ridiculous. He knows quitting is not an option and if he doesn't meet the attendence requirements that any given teacher requires, he'll be there for yet another semester.
He is a smart boy. Does well on test and projects and even oral stuff. But he hates school, hates regimen. I know that it will be a nightmare if he has to go until June, even tho I already told him, I don't want to hear it. I certainly won't get angry or try to *punish* him, this has been his problem all along and he has to deal with the consequences.
Give me strength.

Hang in there and let the natural consequences come down on his stubborn little head!!!
Hopefully, this was just after vacation blues and he will get back to it tomorrow
He may know from experience that this is a light day-too many families not back from vacation and all they will do is watch a movie, for example.
Not saying it's right but, if he is going to pick a day to stay in bed......
Is there some kind of alternative schooling he could take to finish?
He is so close to finishing...and it's really only one course that concerns us.
