Okay, so that phrase that teenagers are God's punishment for enjoying sex?

((HUGS)), Jenn. I have no advice for you, except that it seems we need to check & verify everything these kids do! My DS, who is about to turn 14, sounds very similar to your DS, at least as far as dental grooming is concerned. And he lies all the time, so I could definitely see him doing the same thing. Grrr! Hang in there!

Thanks for the good laugh.
Yes, tha'ts him, in all of his 'great teeth smiling' glory... lol
DS has always been a bit of a struggle, only because he went through such horrors with his bio mom.

Is he in junior high? Your recess comment threw me because that's gone in 5th grade here. We do have open lunch and I know some kids hit the park and throw a ball around(not my 16 yr old though)
I do think the school should handle most of the school stuff-were they clear on what they have done other than talk to him? Seems like a detention or lunch in the office is in order here. If that doesnt work, perhaps you should be brought in but surely, they have options other than talking for over a month!
I don't know what to tell you about the dentist. He DID go which means he remembered and followed through. I do let mine go in the cubicle alone but I make the appointment, drive him there, etc. We just arent set up in a walk
