No testing has been done nor will it be that I know of.

DSM stands for "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual" and it's the guidebook that Psychologists use to make a diagnosis. Schools sometimes use this code, and insurance companies definitely do. Here's the Wikipedia link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diagnostic_and_Statistical_Manual_of_Mental_Disorders
