Dyk

"The cuckoo comes in April,
Sings a song in May:
Then in June another tune,
And then she flies away."

dyk I saw this ad in a magazine and thought of you.

dyk Its was for Naturino shoes - the shoes w/o the sand feeling.

dyk There is one in uptown park (which they maybe kind of pricey)

dyk So, maybe the sand feeling feeling is a common kid thing?

dyk Joy, what about yourbabycanread.com - You can do a trial for $14.95 but the full program costs $200. I have seen them sell on ebay for $150.

dyk The only reason why I suggest it, is that our pedi says a lot of her parents have been able to teach their kids to read. Its not an endorsement from her.

dyk I am thinking of getting it for Emma when she is 3.

dyk Its an idea anyways...

dyk Emma informed us that she wants a chocolate cake for her birthday.

dyk I asked her if her birthday was coming soon and she said "Yes, chocolate cake".

dyk Where did she learn this?

DYK thanks; I'll check that one out.

DYK I'm a big believer in letting the child learn to read when they are ready.

dyk I have had it with my neighbor lady. She is rude to us. I think she doesn't like us b/c we are not the same ethnicity as her (as most people in the neighborhood). We live on the corner and her dog poops on our lawn.

dyk Last night we received her UPS package. I took Emma in the stroller and knocked on her door and waited. I finally left it under her mat. As soon as we were off of her lawn, she opened the door, grabbed the package, and closed the door.

dyk No Thank You when we saw her. She won't let Emma pet her dog. Emma has petted the dog before when her husband walks their dog.

dyk Next UPS package of her I receive, I am taking it the UPS drop off and telling them its not mine.

dyk I have an extra pooper scooper. I feel like taping a note to her door - saying "Please use me".

dyk Yay for Abby!

dyk I want Emma to read by kinder b/c that way I can get her placed in a gifted and talented public school rather than paying for private school. Which is the ONLY reason why we are buying that next year.
