Dyk

"The cuckoo comes in April,
Sings a song in May:
Then in June another tune,
And then she flies away."

DYK what a bummer, about the Fifth's diagnosis.

dyk the kids aren't contagious now, because like many other rashes, they are contagious BEFORE they show up..

dyk but it's looks horrible so sending the kids to school, especially on gym day, would not be good...everyone will just assume they are infectious!

"dyk this really has me puzzled this morning? I think I'm so tired of thinking about my own issues I have going on, I'd rather think about what other people are dealing with. :) It's like a little break for me.

dyk I'm heading out for a run in a bit...who knows, maybe I'll come up with a magic solution for you, lol! (don't hold your breath though!)"

DYK Hope your run cleared your mind a bit, Lindsy?

DYK I've been doing a bit of cleaning around the house today, hoping for the same?

DYK welcome back Patri! Your trip sounded lovely! Especially the chocolate covered cherry part? :-)

DYK I'm glad you didn't have any horror stories while pregnant, but I love the parking lot story!

DYK I'm glad the woman helped you!

dyk ok so you all know that I was a size 6-8 for years (let's say about age 18-age 30)

dyk then was dx with fibromyalgia and literally started gaining weight...

dyk every payday(every 2 weeks) I had to buy the next size pants... no kidding.

dyk got up to about a 12-14 and kept it there until age 32 or 33...and then it started going up again

dyk at my heaviest age 35-36 I was over 260 pounds and bigger than a size 24....lasted for a couple of years

dyk then in 8 months i lost 125 pounds...

dyk so..i know i can lose weight..so what did I do then?

dyk ate oatmeal with almond butter for breakfast....eggs with extra whites and tons of veggies for lunch, no snack in the afternoon and meat with tons of veggies for supper......

dyk every evening I had cranberry juice that had been frozen in a cup...and I scooped at it, which took about 2 hours so kept me occupied and stopped me from snacking....and lots of water

dyk so...only 1 serving of carbs...tons of veggies....very little snacking...tons and tons of water. Drank half my body weight in ounces of water.

dyk guess it can't hurt to try this..although I cannot have eggs when at work as I eaat at my desk and eggs are as bad as fish when reheated OR cold!!

dyk i have to add that I kept that weight loss off until 2 years ago when i came to the beach...so was off for about 5 years..at a size 8 and then for the last couple of years I have gone back up to a 12, with a 14 in sight....not food for me, given I do not have a large frame...
