DYK as for names- we're just happy to have it narrowed down to only one gender. We were having a heck of a time coming up with boy names we could both agree on!
very skinny until the age of 8 fat from 8 - 13 skinny from 14 - 25 fat from 25 - 27 skinny from 28 - 32 fat from 32 - 43 (now)
DYK that last skinny bout took an extraordinary amount of time and energy --- I ran 40 minutes to an hour 6 days a week and went to the gym for 1.5 - 2 hours three or four times a week. Plus during my most fit part of that, I biked 30 - 50 miles once or twice a week.
DYK I would love to have that body again, but I can't even imagine having that much time and energy again.
Past Races:
-Boston Run to Remember Half Marathon, 5/29/11 (2:35:11, no training!)
-Corporate Run, 3.5 miles 6/2/11 (36:38, 4 days after running the half!)
-BAA 10k, 6/26/11 (1:04:52, wanted to be under an hour...)
-Tavern to Tavern
dyk, last night I went to dinner and hung out with a friend of mine...we used to be good friends
dyk, I don't think I want to be friends anymore. That sounds like little kid saying that, but really...I don't think I want to be friends anymore.
dyk, it could have just been the fact that I was tired, my stomach hurt, and I was irritated by all of the red sox fans, but he just REALLY got on my nerves last night.
dyk, I don't see him that often, but in some ways he's changed yet he still won't let go of college. Sure, college was fun but I graduated 4 years ago, I don't really need to relive the frat house with the 5 inches of beer on the floor and overflowing toilet NOW...
dyk, and I understand that he doesn't WANT a '9-5' job, but I just don't understand how he can live day to day not knowing when he's next getting paid for his work...not being able to pay his bills, not being able to buy food, etc. Seems a little ridiculous to me.
dyk, I'm not sure how this is all going to play out, I don't really see him enough (he never has any money to do anything and he kept saying last night that I was always so busy which is why we never see each other...which TICKED ME OFF, I am NEVER to busy for my friends) so it may not be an issue, I may just be able to 'disappear' except for the occasional cup of coffee.
dyk, morning vent over...off to Whole Foods to stock up on items for work, July's a busy/late month for me and I don't want to starve/be irritable

DYK I always tell my kids that they are going to cycle through friends.
DYK I'm trying to get geared up for the day.
DYK we went to the fireworks last night, which always ends up being a late night for the kids, which in turn means that Abby's cranky (Eric was fine).
DYK Eric's up and already playing outside; Abby's still in bed.
DYK Steve's going motorcycle riding, so I think I'll take the kids to a local festival that we always go to.
