dyk so in a strange twist of events... Abi's room is the one that is spotless clean and organized (she did it all herself and has kept it that way for several days!)

dyk and Dek's room has toys and clothes and bottles of water all over it.

dyk and Abi is sweeping the kitchen and Deklan is whining.

dyk okay, that last part is pretty normal

dyk last night, I taped BOTH their mouths shut so I could have a conversation with Sean wihtout trying to talk OVEr them

dyk it was QUITE funny - Sean nearly DIED -

dyk he hadn't realized what the masking tape w/ their names on them were FOR!

DYK I think TGI Fridays has those mini desserts as well? But I've never tried them?

DYK Generally, I try to reserve the dessert thing out for some kind of celebration?

DYK But I have to admit that we have done the Coldstone thing at the park a few times lately? I just love their homemade waffle bowls? At least there I don't feel so guilty about it since I know we'll be walking a good bit of it off?

DYK Yes, sometimes it's just best to distance yourself from some people?

DYK Sounds like a lot of jealousy going on here?

DYK And the gf needs to grow up and take responsibility for her daughter?

"dyk and if not at least they go into the big dealerships or repair shops with a heads up about what their car needs"

DYK My ex-BIL used to do this kind of thing for us? As well as checking out used cars we were thinking of buying?

DYK But we don't see him as much as we used to and I would kind of feel bad contacting him just for that purpose?

"dyk The doctor put me on a new medicine for my thryoid and I think its working. She said it should get the scale moving again :)"

DYK This is great, Karri! I hope it works for you!

DYK I got a letter from my dr about my blood results the other day?

DYK I wanted to share the results with all of you?

DYK Normal blood salts, kidney function and blood sugar. No evidence of anemia or signs of infection. No evidence of liver inflamation or any other abnormalties. Cholesterol is normal - total 185 (normal < 200), LDL 115 (normal <130), HDL 52 (normal > 35), tryglycerides 90 (normal < 150). Thyroid profile is normal. FSH and LH (hormone levels) are normal to borderline elevated. Uric acid (a factor with gout) is normal.

DYK So I'm pretty normal, I guess?

DYK Except for starting menopause?

DYK Guess this is what a good diet and exercise will do?

DYK I can't complain?

dyk We finally left when her child kept picking Emma up - E will stand it for it once or twice but after than she will swing. And I don't punish her b/c she told you twice "No touch Emma" then you get what is coming.

dyk And she kept taking all of E's toys (E has toys that I bought and have left at grandma's) and hiding them from E.

dyk E was so frustrated she asked to go home and that has never happened before (at grandma's house).

Thank you to Christina for my wonderful siggy!

DYK That's just sad.

DYK How old is this little girl?

DYK I don't blame you for taking Emma home. I'm sure that Emma is used to playing with other kids at daycare/pre-school, but she shouldn't be subjected to that kind of treatment from any kid.

DYK I would have had to say something?

dyk She is 6 and E gets along with her other cousins which the ones she sees range from 8 years to 4 months.

dyk I told Fred to. I told him to talk to his brother b/c if I do, I won't be nice.

dyk Before his brother met his current gf, we were going to make him legal guardian of Emma(if anything ever happened to us) but we decided on someone else b/c they lead a very different lifestyle (ie illegal drugs) now than he did before. I told Fred he needs to tell him about that too. Plus, the girl he was dating at the time, I really liked and could see her being a really good role model for E.

dyk His current gf even asked me how much Emma is worth - in the case of our demise. Um no, you don't get her EVER!

Thank you to Christina for my wonderful siggy!
