DYK Thanks Karen.

DYK I did a search but may not have gone back far enough?

DYK I found a recipe the other day and copied it, but I'd much rather have one that is tried and true?

dyk I don't ski.

dyk I CAN ski, I have learned, I just don't like it.

dyk too expensive and involved for something that I don't enjoy! lol

dyk but Sean snowboards. He'll go up the mountain prob two half days. As a group we share lift tickets.

dyk we'll buy one one day, Sean'll use it all morning then maybe hand it off to my mom or dad or brother for the afternoon, etc, etc,

DYK I'm pretty sure I wouldn't enjoy skiing even tho I've never been?

DYK I just don't enjoy being cold at all?

DYK It's like torture when my feet get cold, so I just can't see myself ever trying it or even wanting to go on a ski trip?

"dyk tried and true... pfffffffffft. Weiney."

DYK Yep, it's true...I'm a recipe weiney....

DYK Funny you should use that word?

DYK That's what I called Maegan at the park the other day when she didn't want to ride a few of the rides?

DYK It must have worked?

DYK She rode them after I said that?

dyk, so I finally got around to installing Snow Leopard

dyk, it's nice...I like it so far! And my new phone works wonderfully with it!

dyk, I'm STILL running Firefox 2.0.0.11

dyk, I have the newest version downloaded, but I just don't like it...so I'm sticking with the old school version until I HAVE to upgrade

dyk, I need to leave for the gym in 6 hours...but I want to get my phone JUUUUUUUST right!

dyk, and I have a crapton of work to do before my boss comes back on Friday...hard to believe she's been gone for nearly 3 weeks!

Past Races:
-Boston Run to Remember Half Marathon, 5/29/11 (2:35:11, no training!)
-Corporate Run, 3.5 miles 6/2/11 (36:38, 4 days after running the half!)
-BAA 10k, 6/26/11 (1:04:52, wanted to be under an hour...)
-Tavern to Tavern

dyk my DH, younger son and I could have gazpacho every night for dinner, but my oldest dooesn't like it :(

dyk when tomatoes are really ripe you throw in peeled tomatoes, peeled cucumber, green pepper, garlic, onion, olive oil, vinegar, pinch of cumin, and take 1 3" slice of day old Italian style bread (here it's Spanish bread LOL) and soak it in water and throw that all in the food processor. I found out my MIL uses tinned tomato puree and I never knew it. I do it by eye, but will look up a measured recipe for you and pot it on the recipe thread.
