I want you all to get to know each other... I will still try to buddy up those that signed up for a buddy, but ultimately YOU ALL can support each other the best (IMO).... and can COUNT on the the rest of the board to answer your questions, help cheer you on... we are all here to support you 100%!

* So tell us about yourself...

* What your worries/concerns are?

* Do you have any questions?

* What have you been eating so far (phase I is the hardest phase, but lasts only 2 weeks so hang in there).

* Are you getting your veggies in (1/2 cup with breakfast, TWO cups at lunch and dinners)?

* Drinking lots of water?  (so important to try to flush out the bad stuff you are detouring)?

* Anyone exercising (we have daily threads down below to post your accomplishments - even 10 min of moving deserves applause!)?

WE ARE SO HAPPY YOU DECIDED TO JOIN US!

* So tell us about yourself...

I'm a married 31F no children, but 2 wonderful cats. I live in a suburb of Chicago w/m DH. I was always thin until I hit my 20's then all bets were off. I've been on several diets, but none have really stuck. I did manage to loose about 25 lbs one year watching calories and fat, but I quickly gained it back.

As of Jan 1, 2004 I had reached my all time high weight, 185. This can't continue SBD is my only hope. I don't want to loose weight fast, I just want to loose weight and keep it off.

* What your worries/concerns are?

I'm conserned about not eating fruit for so long. I can give up everything else, but the fruit is going to be the toughest. I looooove strawberries and mangos.

* Do you have any questions?

Not yet.

* What have you been eating so far (phase I is the hardest phase, but lasts only 2 weeks so hang in there).

Lots of celery! Lots of lettuce wraps... Lots and lots of turkey...

* Are you getting your veggies in (1/2 cup with breakfast, TWO cups at lunch and dinners)?

Like I said.. Lots of celery!

* Drinking lots of water? (so important to try to flush out the bad stuff you are detouring)?

I wasn't at first, but when the headaches started, I stepped it up a bit... Now I very well hydrated and I feel fine.

* Anyone exercising (we have daily threads down below to post your accomplishments - even 10 min of moving deserves applause!)?

I have done some form of exercise three days straight now!

Hi there! I found this board this morning and am thrilled!

I started SBD on January 2nd...so have been on it for a week now. I am a mom to two wonderful children and work from home.

I decided to start this plan because I have PCOS and need to get my weight under control. I do not have much to lose...20 pounds...but if I can get it in check I hope to get off the meds I have to take. Plus I am insulin resistant and would like to get that under control and be healthy!!!

This is the first plan that I have started that I have seen results and is not hard to follow! Love that!

I would love to hear from anyone else that has PCOS and how they have done on SBD and if it has helped them.

Thanks so much,
