I'm 25 y.o. a semi-vegetarian (yes to cheese, eggs and seafood on ocassion), no kids and in need to loose 17lbs. (I'm petitte so it feels like alot). I do pilates and yoga 5 to 6 days a week and walk alot.

Hmm..I'd like to lose like about 10 lbs. I gained about 14 lbs within 3 months due to medical reasons. It hasn't been that hard for me but I would be lying if I said there hasn't been any cravings. I did have a couple of cravings for bread but it wasn't that bad though.
I'm actually enjoying this diet! This isn't really a diet..as we all know that, right? This is a way of showing us how to eat better for life, which is perfect for everyone!

moonlight, don't give up! i have heard of several people who don't lose practically anything until 3-4 weeks into it. it really depends on how you "lose" weight. i know for me, it takes a lot longer for me to see results, and it is so easy to be discouraged. but the few times i have stuck with diets for more than 2-3 weeks, all of a sudden the weight melts off, and i can fit back into my skinny jeans again (let me tell you girls, the day i zip up the jeans that were too BIG for me three years ago is going to be a big day!). so don't give up hope altho it feels like you haven't lost anything. also, just a quick word about re-introducing carbs since you're almost done with phase I: a friend of mine did this, and she made the mistake of adding carbs in right away, for example, eating a whole-wheat bagel for breakfast, then fruit for lunch, and a whole-wheat roll for dinner. and she couldn't understand why she wasn't losing weight! i've been told that for the first few weeks or months on phase II, you should limit your carbs as much as you can if you want to see weight loss. any more experienced phase II'ers out there, if i'm wrong, please let me know, but i thought i would just pass along some helpful info. hang in there, and let us all know how it's going!
