need crackers I have an old recipe that might do the trick. Put shredded cheddar cheese in a fry pan and let it melt. Drain off the fat,turn over and fry it again. Take it out of the pan and break it into pieces. Wallla You have a cheese cracker. Hope that helps Maryann

Oh that reminds me of the Atkins microwave cheese crisp things... Does anyone have that recipe?

I have two recipes from the Atkins low carb friends.com they are:

Cheese Crisps II

Takes asome cheedar cheese and shred it up.

Place it in a shallow plate. Put it in the microwave for a couple minutes. Draingrease & microwave again til you have little or no grease left. This dish will be hot. Brweak into pcs. and enjoy.


Easy Taco Shells

Use any cheese on hand,grate up a bunch,toss it in a well oiled frypan ank make a little pancake. When its nice and brown take it out and fold it over a rolling pin to harden. Enjoy.
