I noticed that most people on Phase I started just after new year. So I guess we are all one week into phase I.

Did anyone do weigh in? what were your results? and how long do you plan to stay on phase I??

I could not do my weigh in kuz I had my period and cant tell any difference(I wouldnot be surprised if I gained some weight now). Plan to keep it for another week and then get the final result at once.

I would be happy if I lose 4 pounds in the weeks. is it doable??

I have lost 7 pounds since 1-1-04, and my hubby has lost 14. We are going to just do two weeks of Phase 1, but we may go back to it occasionally to speed up the weight loss if we plateau later.

Well, I just started but might as well post my stats now.

I did weigh in before I started. I am 5'7", 250 lbs. My goal is 150 though I dont know how realistic that is since I havent been 150 since i was 18 lol.

YAY!! I was very pleased this morning when I stepped on the scale... I started on 1/5/04 and I am down 8 lbs today!

Hi, I started on January 5th and lost 3 pounds as of Sunday, which I feel very happy about. I haven't completely followed the Phase 1 rules - on a few days I had a piece of toast with my cottage cheese,I had some oatmeal one morning when I couldn't face one more egg and a tiny piece of birthday cake....but still lost some weight! I started at 137, now I'm 134 and my goal is 125. It's an amazing diet.

How about if we do an exercise check in too? I walked about 10 miles total last week, and since Sunday I've walked 4. I'd like to work in some abs and weights this week, but so far haven't done it (who has the time for all this?)

This is my 9th day. So far, nothing has shown up on the scales but I feel better and my clothes are fitting better.

Hi, I am on day 9 and as of yesterday

I lost a total of 6lbs. When I started

I weighed 217lbs and I would like to get down

to at least 155lbs. I think that is my ideal

Boy, it sure is nice to see that the majority of the new SB dieters are losing! That's excellent! I've lost 4 so far, was only hungry on day 1 and 2 and am feeling SO good! I love this new WOE. I still can't believe I'm loving cheese (mocha ricotta) for dessert. That's just crazy!!! My youngest son loves the mocha ricotta too.

I started on January 5 at 150 pounds. My goal is 120 pounds. When I weighed myself yesterday morning, I was 141 pounds. I can't believe how easy it was to lose 9 pounds! I hope the other 21 come off just as easily. ;-)

By the way, I haven't exercised at all yet. I plan to start walking this weekend. I've just been so busy preparing all my SBD meals, I haven't had time. But, I made a resolution this week to just fork out the extra cash for pre-cut, pre-washed lettuce and other veggies. I was spending all my free time chopping vegetables!

This is my second go at South Beach...I lost 5 lbs beforethe holidays and gained most of it back...I started 1/5/04 and lost 5 LBS!!!!I am so excited!!!

i have lost 6 pounds! last night i buttoned jeans that had been too tight (and we're talking WELDED to the skin here!) to wear in public, you know, the kind that highlights things you would rather not see, like saddlebags. but last night i decided to try them on...and they actually buttoned!! i was so astonished i ran for the scale. i still have a long way to go, but i'm so encouraged by my results. i'm heading to the gym for my first work out tonight...does any one have any advice on what is good to eat on phase one right before a gym visit for extra energy? and i'm so glad to hear everyone else is doing great too...wonder how many pounds we've all lost total?
