I bought my decaf lipton tea and in the post about what to drink, someone said that the tea must be unsweetened. Does this mean that i cant put in any equal or half and half?

It means don't purchase pre-sweetened iced tea with sugar.

When they say unsweetened they just mean no sugar. I have never done the diet drinks because I hated the aftertaste of artificial sweeteners, but I bought a bag of Splenda on good faith and OMG! I love it. Cant get over the difference between it and those sachrine sweeteners.

Yes you can drink the tea from a bag, that's not sweetened.

Hi,

In the book he speaks about splenda. I bought some for my tea, and it really is great. Not too sweet like some sweetners... but he says you can use any sweetener. He states that as long as it it sugar free you are ok. You can use some half and half later but not in Phase One. Dairy is very limited. I will double check the book but I think you can have some in Phase two. You can have whipped cream in phase two as long as it is only sweetened by a non sugar sub. so I would imagine 1/2 and 1/2 would fit that catagory.

I love my tea too!

Happy drinking.
