Susan's oven roasted Garbanzo beans...

recipe is amazing! A perfect carb free snack with a lot of crunch and a lot of flavor. Perfect for any phase, but especially Phase 1 where flavorful, crunchy treats are at a minimum!!!
Preheat oven to 425.
Drain, rinse and dry (really, really well) chick peas.
Place on cookie sheet and lightly coat with 1 to 2 tsp. of olive oil.
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder or cayenne pepper
Bake for 30 to 45 minutes. (I baked mine for 45. We got a couple that were burnt, but the rest were so crunchy and flavorful!)
Dh loved them as well!

I use canned.... but you could (I don't see why not) rehydrate the dried ones.
