Day2
| Tue, 01-13-2004 - 12:03pm |
So I'm just at the end of day 2, and so far so good, I should say. My niece was over and begged me to try her mint naimo bars and she watched me as I took a small bite to make her happy. NOOOOOOOOOOO she yelled at me to eat the whole thing. And it had to be " the biggest piece for Auntie KiKi"... Man 8 year olds are pushy.
argh... I guess I'll just add an extra day of phase 1.
How was your day so far?

It has been going very very well... for breakfast I had a boiled egg with some cottage cheese with my tea...(cant tolerate the v8); For lunch I made a salad with turkey, mixed greens, and shredded low fat cheddar...had a bit of balamic vinegar for my dressing...I am so stuffed now. I have some nuts for my snack this afternoon. Plan to have Grilled chicken with asparagus for dinner...
Whoopee!!! this is going much better than I anticipated!!!

So far so good. I am kinda feeling low (blood sugar isn't high like it usually is this time of day after lunch), and trying to work through that.
Any dieters past this phase, please offer some support. These first 3 days are supposed to be the hardest...
Welcome!
You can do this.
Just for fun I stepped on the scale this morning, and Ive lost 5 POUNDS!!!! I am so happy about that. I think almost all of it is water weight but thats quite alright with me!
Since my sleeping schedule is so strange, all ive eaten so far today is a cheese stick (well, then there were the 2 stalks of celery with all natural peanut butter last night when I was at work). Tonight I am grilling chicken breasts seasoned with lemon pepper, then topping them with canned green chile's and a slice of mozzerella cheese. Then Im going to cut up zucchini, squash, mushrooms and onions, drizzle them with olive oil and bake it. Im really looking forward to those! Anyway, thats my day. Hope everyone getting through detox okay. Keep up the good work, it will soon be over.
Truly,
Amy
