Well, one day I'd lost as much as 9 lbs.

Been weighing on diff. scales at diff. times.

Pretty much concluded I've definitely lost atleast 5 lbs since Jan 5 !!!!

Going along, tho I don't FEEL much diff in my clothes.

Cheated a little on red wine, bowl of cheerios, & oatmeal & a tad too much peanut butter.

Otherwise, I suppose I should be happy with the weight I've lost so far!

Finding it not too hard to make meals using the "right" foods.... :)

Wondering how much others have lost now on Day 10 or so????

Im on day 5 and this has been the easiest day yet. Headache was horrible on day 2, but it was gone by day 3. When I weighted just out of curiousity on day 3 I'd already lost 5 pounds. Its amazing how cutting out the salty snacks can help. I think I spent the first couple days living in the bathroom and losing all that water lol.

My favorite new recipe is a vegetable bake. Last night I cut up zuchinni, squash, mushrooms, asparagus and brushed them with olive oil, sprinkled dehydrated onions (for lack of the real thing) and garlic powder on them and baked it until the veggies were cooked but still crisp. WOW! Too bad the kids and hubby didnt care for it. Sure hope they learn to like it hehe, cause they'll get alot of it.

I don't think I'll stay on Phase 1 any more than two weeks. Im doing really well, but when i look at the foods to reintroduce in phase 2 I think I'll do better to reintroduce a few of them. Such as fruit. Not to mention the health benefits when you eat them (in moderation of course) I might allow myself a piece a day or every other day. And maybe one piece of whole grain bread once or twice a week. Dont want to get to carried away though.

Congrats on the clothes fittin better. Im so used to wearing sweats its hard to tell, lol

Truly,

Amy

Good Afternoon! I am on day 10 too. I don't feel I have lost anything. I think maybe 2-3lbs. but definately not the 8-13 that the diet says. I am worried. Am I doing something wrong?

I just want my stomach to go away. I have to be in Hawaii on the 19th - 29th and I want to be able to get in a bathing suit. Right now I don't feel comfortable.

Any suggestions?

Typical Diet:

I am always on the run, I am in sales so my diet may look weird. Tips would help!

Breakfast:

usually cashews and laughing cow string cheese

Decaf Tea Venti

Lunch:

Either an egg omlet with mushrooms and cheese/feta, sushi no rice or salad with BC dressing and nuts and veggies

Snack:

cashews if anything

Grande latte decaf nonfat

Dinner:

chicken of somesort with veggies.

Snack:

Diet Hot Chocolate or sugar free jello

Can you tell I have a sweet toothe? He He He...

Congrats on your incredible weight loss. What's the time frame on that 100 pounds?

Today I'm extremely depressed. I usually have an upbeat and positive attitude about the changes I have made. But... my friend who started this with me on the 5th has already went down in clothes and lost weight. I don't think any of that has happened for me. I did wear a shirt I wouldn't wear in public before on Monday, but I don't know if that's really a good sign... the shirt didn't used to be that tight... I just don't know. I don't weigh myself, and I didn't when I started....

I bought nuts to snack on and now they are killing me. I can't seem to stay within the required ammount.

Plus at the end of my first week, we had to go to Pizza Hut! So my friend and I scraped off the topping on two slices, I had a salad, and we ordered their wings which are not breaded.

I just want this to work. I don't want to have stomach stapling. It was an option before, but I watched Oprah on Monday, and I don't want it anymore. I want to do this the right way. Can't it be done this way?? I have a large ammount of weight to lose.

Sorry to wig out on you guys..it's just been a bad day...

Bless your heart! You ARE having a bad day. But look at it like this:

It took me 10 years to gain this extra 100 lbs. Thats less than a pound a month, so even if you lose, say, 4 pounds a month, your still losing it 4 times faster than you put it on! lol

I personally weight once or twice a week AND measure. Even though Ive lost 5 pounds, I really couldnt tell teh difference in my clothes yet. So dont let that discourage you. The REAL truth for me is in my measurements, not teh scale. Sometimes I just like to peek and see what it says.

And lets say, for some reason, you dont lose any weight (not that I see that happening). Your body is still going to thank you- your heart and blood vessels, pancreas, kidneys, hormones, and everything else because you've stopped putting sugar in your gas tank. (Ever seen what happens to an engine when someone does that to you? not pretty lol) You are living healthier. Its a lifestyle and eventually you will notice the difference.

Keep up the good work. You can do it. Iknow you can.

Truly,

Amy

Thanks for the encouraging words! I appreciate it. Any suggestions for fast food tonight? I'm thinking salad. Anything safe and filling at McDonalds or Wendys?

I figure I've lost about 5 lbs, but I feel no different in my clothes!

My thighs are still leading the way, busting outta my jeans!!!!

Maybe it's coming off my tummy? I sure can't see a difference, but pretty sure I've lost those pounds.......
