I noticed that on the soy I drink there is more sugar than I ever even thought! And carbs, I'm just very surprised. So is there a low carb low sugar soy milk out there cause my body doesn't handle dairy very well. Thanks! Rachel

Have you seen WestSoy's SoySmart? It's sweetened with Splenda. It might be hard to put a big glass of it in front of you to drink (I really hate that off-color of soy milk). But it's great with oatmeal or mixed into low-glycemic-load cereals where the color is not so obvious (but no cereal for Phase I).

SoySmart comes in a box, like Parmalat. You'll find it in the "natural" food section of your grocery store, on a shelf or in the refrigerated section. It comes in vanilla, chocolate, and I think cappuccino flavor.

Almond milk is milk made from almonds. So I'd wonder about the fat content in that? But it's worth a try if the carbs are low and no sugar. ;-)
