Has anyone's weight loss stalled?

Hi all,

I lost six pounds as of last Saturday in week one of P1. I weighed myself today and I am still at a 6 or 7 lbs. weight loss mark- no additional loss since Saturday. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I had a couple of hot wings Tuesday (bad! I know)- could that be the cause??

I did, I was at the same weight for 3 weeks and just couldn't get over the hump!

Hi, I have stalled many times,& I don't have TOM anymore. I thinks its the bodys way of telling you it wants to rest inbetween a weight loss. HTH Maryann

I've "stalled" (hopefully temporarily!) for the entire week (I'm on day 11)- I'm just going to keep sticking to it (and move into Phase 2 in 4 days) and hope for the best. Everyone I know who has followed the SBD has lost weight- I guess we have to stick with it and over time we'll see results. (I'm giving MYSELF a pep talk here!)

Hello :-)

The first time I did P1, I lost 5 pounds the first week and zippo the second. I made the switch to P2 and started losing again (1-2 per week). Don't sweat it, some people's bodies adapt quicker to change! Make a switch with something, either go on to P2 a little early or else up your exercise, and you'll start to see results again.

I think maybe I'm stalled too. Loss of 4.5 lbs, sticking.

Anyone know HOW FAR AHEAD OF TOM would your body start retaining in prep ????

I'm 10 days from P-Day (haha) and seem to have stalled. Maybe it's more regular weight training - building muscle???

It sounds like you may be experiencing a little of both. Have you been measuring? That is the best indicator of overall improvement. Sometimes you will not lose weight, but you will lost inches, which is a good indicator that you are developing more muscle. Keep up the good work. You can dooo eeeet!

WHelp, Tues, the 20th will be my next official WEIGHDAY at Curves!!!

I'm REAL interested to see what my diff. since November is.....

I didn't weigh in December, cause I was chicken.

I know I ate like a pig during the holidays, however, I know I've lost atleast 4.5 since Jan 5th.....

Hopefully, I'll be encouraged!!!! and wanting to do more SBD !!!!

hi, i am new to this board... just found it Saturday. I was looking for info on stalls and plateaus. i am on my second week of phase 1 and have not lost anything in 3 days... lost 6lbs first week and have gained back 1.5 as of today. this is rather typical for me as i have been on atkins and SB before. In the past the stalls have been discouraging enough to make me quit, but i have read enough now to realize it's ok and go on. Glad to read here that i am not alone in the frustrating early program stalls. I started LC'ing a year ago at 151. This morning i weighed 135 and would like to lose 10 more eventually. Any one else have problems with Week 2 of phase 1?

i am on my second week of phase 1 and lost 6 lbs. the first week and so far nothing this week but i am sure i will. my husband lost 9 the first week and nothing this week either. but i am sure it will by the end of the 2 weeks.
