But today was a ROUGH day for me. I didn't eat anything (I wasn't hungry at all) until 4pm when I had some tuna over some fresh spinach. I did drink alot of water. I know Aunt Flow is trying to come into town (she should be here by the 25th) For dinner I had steak, roasted eggplant, and the mocha ricotta creme dessert.
Is it worth going on? I feel so bloated because of my period. I don't feel like having my regular bad foods but I just feel like I gained back all the weight I lost with all this bloating. Plus I haven't had a bowel movement in a week!!! I don't know if I am being moody or what but how do you keep on going when you are hormonal!!??? And when I am going to do #2!!!!????
I will continue to keep on trucking. I went grocery shopping tonight for some different foods. I am trying to be optimistic but I am so crampy that I can't even motivate myslef to my threadmill.
Ok, done with my vent. I hope everyone is having a better Day 7 than me! I need some support!!!

Hi,
You need to get some metamucil!
As far as the other problem, Cathy already made a great suggestion. I usually have that problem around my TOM anyhow, on top of the change in woe, on top of my thyroid issue - so I make sure I eat lots of leafy greens, drink LOTS of water and sometimes I have to use a fiber supplement.
Cramps...hmmmm do you have a bed buddy? You know one of those bean filled thingys you pop in the mircowave for a min?? I have terrible cramps and I am NOT the most friendly person in the world during my TOM - I picked up a bed buddy for $5 at walgreens and some sf herseys bars....held me together!!! LOL
The treadmill can wait -
Hope your feeling better!!
Sheila
I am co cl for "Ask Dr. Ruth" board.
All other problems aside, a week without #2 is not a good thing. I was having problems too over the weekend, also in conjunction with my period, so I took some milk of magnesia (Phillips brand) and it worked wonders. With the bloating and the BM. Much better than one of those laxatives where you have to suddenly run to the bathroom. This one was very gentle. :) I also take Metamucil, but only once a day, b/c that's the only time I can remember to do it - with my supplements/vitamins.

Hope you feel better soon....
