Mexican food......

DH and I cook and eat out Mexican food quite often (hence the chili pepper icon lol), and I'm looking for "SBD-friendly" ideas. When we go out, we normally split a plate of beef fajitas. I'm thinking if I get a cup of tortilla soup and eat some of the fajita meat, maybe a dab of guacamole, but skip the tortillas and chips, that would be alright. Any ideas/suggestions about this, and Mexican in general?
Thanks,
jill

Fajitas are a great idea.
The black bean soup is a good idea, although I don't know of any places around here that serve it. Unfortunately for me, our favorite Mexican restaurant serves "charro" (pinto) beans to die for. (whimper, whimper, sniffle)
BTW, are pinto beans allowed in Phase 2? I might could go 2 weeks (for Phase 1) without them, but doubt I'd last much more than that!
Thanks,
jill
I'm looking forward to a few chips in Phase 2. Just hope I can hold out til then. Chips and salsa are pretty much a staple/daily fare around my house so that's gonna be tough.

Phase 2 we could do an enchilada type of thing with corn tortillas or pita or something and low-fat cheese.
I'm a mexican food addict also.
